The receiver is designed to control individual outdoor lighting points (VO). Control (communication) is wireless using the LoRaWAN protocol at a frequency of 868 MHz.
The receiver outputs control commands for the DALI bus. The receiver is not used to power the DALI bus.
Using a mobile phone with NFC and the Poseidon NFC app, it is possible to perform basic settings and diagnostics of the receiver.
Individual lights or groups of lights can then be controlled by a schedule set in the control system.
Upon request from the control system, the receiver provides information about the temperature, number of hours of operation of the device, and number of hours of operation of the light source. Error reports are periodically sent to the control system. The accuracy of the measured instantaneous data (W, Wh) depends on the specifications of the DALI control device.
In the event of a loss of the control signal, the receiver switches to autonomous mode and controls itself according to the previous information from the control system's schedule.
Thanks to the integrated GPS module, the receiver can automatically display its location in the Poseidon® City application.
